We are very excited to announce that our friend Brenda Viola will be teaching a workshop based on her book, ‘The Public Servants’ Survival Guide: 10 Keys to Reclaim Your Joy in Work and Life While Doing What You Love.’
You may or may not be the City Manager or Board President, but you are the CEO of your own life. Taking care of you will be the smartest thing you will ever do. And this workshop will help you restore joy in your work AND in your life. Instead of heading toward a breakdown, you’ll be empowered to prepare for a breakthrough.
The workshop will be followed by a book signing of her book, ‘The Public Servants’ Survival Guide.’ Signed copies are $12.50, credit cards accepted.
WORKSHOP FEE: $30.00 payable at the door or purchase ticket below.
Brenda Viola’s work as an award-winning Public Information Officer near Philadelphia birthed the inspiration for her Municipal Education courses and the launch of ME Seminars.
A former news anchor and reporter, she chuckles that the most interest surrounding her resume is her brief stint as a QVC Show Host! What is the “Why?” behind her current work? “Nothing makes me happier than to see the spark return in the eyes of people who are nearing burnout. I know the difference encouragement can make. And I consider it a privilege to serve others through love, laughter, and learning.”
For several years, an outlet for this desire to encourage others has been her inspirational blog at Brenda Viola.com or her 10,000+ member Facebook community (@BrendaViola722). She is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and resides in Sarasota, FL. Her book, The Public Servants’ Survival Guide: 10 Keys to Reclaim Your Joy in Work and Life While Doing What You Love was a #1 new release on Amazon in 2020.
Brenda resides in Sarasota and is a proud member of SCOL. Her second book, “How to be Heard (without Screaming)” will be published in early 2022.
