Automatic writing has been used for generations as a way of exploring inspiration, altered states, the subconscious mind and possible communication with Spirit. Nic Whitham will guide you through practical exercises designed to quieten the analytical mind and allow words, thoughts and impressions to flow more freely. You’ll explore the difference between conscious writing, inspired writing and deeper forms of automatic expression. And importantly, you’ll look at how to assess what you’ve written afterwards without automatically assuming every unusual thought came from Spirit. Bring a notebook, a pen and an open mind.
